The Dark Minister Rises
  In 1939, the Caped Crusader, more commonly know as Batman, was created at the  reach of Bob Kane and Bill Finger. When Batman de onlyed,  throng loved his story. He  at present became a hit and has  fit increa wickednessgly popular always since. Today, Batman is considered to be one of the  superior super heroes of all time,  plane though he is a regular human organism with no supernatural powers. Batmans characteristics and story  be a direct comparison to Dimmesdale from Nathaniel Hawthornes novel The Scarlet Letter,  through with(predicate) their motivations, stereotypes, and struggles between doing what is right for  confederation or themselves.\nThere are many things that motivate both Dimmesdales and Batmans  native characteristics. In his article Batman:  mental Trauma and Its Solution, Michael Brody writes Bruce Wayne [Batman], like  some of Liftons and Olsons subjects, is a survivor (Brody). According to Brody, Bruce Wayne,  overly known as Batman, suffers from   cobblers la   st   delinquencyy conscience. The idea of death guilt is whenever there is a  tragical event where people die, the survivors  spirit guilt for living  patch others died and blame themselves for the others death because they did not  tho them. This concept of death guilt drives both Dimmesdale and Bruce Wayne. Wayness death guilt comes from when he was a child. He had a phobia of bats and while at a play that displayed his fears he asked his parents to leave the theatre. When they walked out of the theatre, the  raw Bruce witnessed a thief  soak and kill his parents. He  diabolic himself for their death because they were kil guide as a result of his fear. This eventually led to Bruce Wayne adopting his second identity of Batman. Dimmesdales death guilt does not come from literal death, but from death of a reputation. He committed adultery with a woman  drawd Hester and she became pregnant. She was punished for the sin while Dimmesdales name was kept a secret. He felt guilty because H   esters reputation die...
